Date: Apr 14 2009 7:53AM Manager's Report - April 2009 The Future''s bright, future''s Progress! Ware to start, Matt Ware has led the team to a fourth place finish and the team has been improving with every weekend. With planning for 09/10 almost complete, we should improve on that finish in the Premier division next season. I have been pleased with the young team and look forward to seeing them develop into a team for the next few seasons. Matt Ware has also been making headlines in the Grand Prix circuit and is currently in the second the men''s singles table, he has also been playing very well in the junior circuit winning the Derby 4 star and losing in the final of the national junior championships. In the local leagues we have continued to dominate in both the South & West Middlesex League and the Wembley & Harrow the captains have been brilliant and have been a huge help, again with planning for next season in its early stages we are looking to strengthen all teams for the coming season. After taking over from JK this season my main focus has been on developing a really strong future for the club, I have been with Progress longer than everyone, I have seen the club go from nothing to the best club in the UK. When I started this season I had a good look at our teams and came to the conclusion that we need to rebuild for the next decade. Many older players'' lives have changed and they are unable to dedicate as much time to practice and competition. Our young members have picked up a number of titles and show that they are improving and are going to help move the club forward.
